3RD WEDNESDAYS • 9:30-11:30 AM • KINGSLAND CAMPUS
Since 2014, this group has joined the front-line counter-trafficking effort with Rescue Houston to host monthly outreach efforts through a phone bank ministry. Phone calls are made to each person that was forced, either by violence or self esteem, to a life of trafficking and a message of hope and love is given, offering a way out if they are open and ready to leave their situation. Both men and women can volunteer. Contact Shelley Eastland for more information.
Smocks for Life
This group meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in Asbury West and produces smocks for women who are undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
