Care Team

The Care Team addresses people's hurts and joys through prayer and service. Care Team meets weekly to pray over those on the care list and sends cards, makes phone calls, and visits those in need of support.

Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministers provide one-on-one Christian care to those going through difficult times. They provide listening care to anyone who is struggling with issues such as job loss, illness, relationship difficulties, a spiritual crisis, or loss of a loved one. In-person meetings. virtual meetings, and phone meetings are available.

Prayer Quilt Ministry

The Prayer Quilt Ministry creates quilts to give to those in need of extra care. After the quilts are crafted, the group prays over them and for the recipient. The Prayer Quilt Ministry meets monthly and welcomes anyone regardless of their sewing skills.

Crochet Ministry

If you crochet or knit, or would like to learn to crochet, we would love for you to join us and be a part of our Crocheting Ministry. We will be making afghans for new babies in our church family, as well as worship wraps for anyone who gets chilly during our worship services, and other needs as they arise. Contact with any questions.

Smocks for Life

This group meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in Asbury West and produces smocks for women who are undergoing treatment for breast cancer. The colorful, cheerful smocks are designed for comfort and modesty and are provided to patients free of charge. Smocks for Life hosts monthly cutting session to cut out fabric. Volunteers are needed to sew the fabric into smocks.
