Students: Sunday School | West

On 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Sundays, students are to first be in the worship service with their families. Later, during the service, there will be an opportunity for students to leave and be in their Sunday School groups. Students will stay in their Sunday School groups until the end of the worship service, around 11:30 am.

A value of St. Peter’s UMC is showing students they are a part of the greater church congregation, not just the student ministry. To help students experience this, we want to offer a time for them to stay and worship throughout the entire service.  
We will also have times where we will have Family Worship Sundays, where there will be no Sunday School offered on those days. We will keep families updated through email and website when those dates are. 

A value of St. Peter’s UMC is showing students they are a part of the greater church congregation, not just the student ministry. By giving students the opportunity to be included and a part of the worship service, students are able to sing songs of praise, witness baptisms, and more, along with their church family. On 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Sundays, students are able to worship with the rest of the church and meet in their Sunday School groups.

That is totally up to the student and the family. We think it is great for students to be in worship with their family and church family. If students ever want to join us for Sunday School on another Sunday or attend Midweek on Wednesdays at 6:00pm, they are more than welcome!

This event is for students 6-12th grade. Typically we will divide up high school and junior high grades.

This will be an opportunity for students to gather and discuss/learn about the current sermon series the church is covering. Students will learn more and more about what happens on Sunday mornings at the church and how it can impact our faith.

We will only have Sunday School for students during the 10:30am service time. Students during the 9:00am hour may still attend our worship service and may join our team of students on the Connection Team. This will allow them to work alongside other students and adults to explore their gifts and talents.
